This stud is used extensively on John Deere Tractors both two cylinder and new generation. Used in the attachment of implements, wheels, weights etc. We machine this stud with 2 thread types. The end denoted by a flat, straight cross section has class 5 interference threads. The opposite end with a rounded profile is the working end. The threads here are class 2. The full body section is left intact to retain strength as was the original stud, Current Deere production eliminates most of these features except for the two thread types. All studs have our nickel finish. They are made from 4140 alloy steel.
