These are replacement bushings used in the tappet lever assembly on John Deere model B and 50 tractors. We press them into tappet levers we are reconditioning. They are made from 660 bronze with a hole for drip lubrication when operating. We can refurbish your tappet levers or exchange for credit on reconditioned tappet levers. These bushings here are offered for do it yourself installation.

     The typical failure of the bushings in tappet levers is an egg shaped wear pattern from years of operation. The shaft wears as well. We sell new shafts (see GP-B206R). With new bushings and shafts, you can now do a more complete motor job on your B and 50.
