This is the clutch operating pin which is in engagement with the tractor clutch fork and pulley brake. Deere made many changes in the number series tractors to address some issues found in the earlier letter series. The usual failing of this casehardened pin is a "hammered" engagement with the pulley brake our the pin itself is broken. We offer new pins that are now unavailable from Deere. We have currently 4 different pin types (see PULLEY category). We also stock the appropriate shims, orings where required and the pulley brake pins and springs. These pins are case hardened steel like the original, not simply machined. Please review carefully your parts manual before ordering because of the numerous and sometimes confusing changes made by Deere. Our pictures with this part show the models this pin will fit.
